What should flooring contractors recommend to their customers? Is quality the better option or is it quantity?
As a flooring contractor you have two types of flooring options to suggest to your clients: quality or quantity. Usually it is best to choose one and specialize in it. Specializing in one through repeated practice will help you get the best results possible and will make you the go to person for that type of work. The other one can be suggested only if your customers absolutely need it. So to help you out we have created the discussion “Quality Vs Quantity: What Should Flooring Contractors Recommended to Their Customers”. Check it out below…
Quality is usually the best option. Quality flooring is easy to work with and can get you the best results. Also as the work you do will look good, the flooring by itself will help you generate newer customers. Once someone to feasts their eye upon the flooring, they will want to know who laid the flooring and how to get in touch with them. But the main problem you will encounter with quality flooring is that it is expensive. And because of this fewer people will want to hire you to lay down quality flooring.
Even though quantity might not always get you the best results, many people prefer it, especially when they have a tight budget which seems to be the norm these days. If you specialize in using cheap flooring and can help your customers get great results with them, you should have a massive line of customers waiting to get their homes and offices floored by you. But one thing you need to remember here is that the pay may not always be worth it. People who want to save money with the use of low quality flooring will only want to pay you less for your services whereas people who hire you to install quality flooring will be willing to pay you more.
The best thing to do would be to spend some time and see what works best for you. You need to decide on the type of flooring you are better working with and what most of your customers prefer before settling on quality or quantity as your first option.
